It's difficult for me to reconcile a grassroots enthusiasm gap and a campaign that's averaging over 1000 calls a minute since 8:00 AM EDT. I'm not using OFA for GOTV for candidates - making calls for Feingold, Sestak, Grayson and Grijalva with the <a href="http://calloutthevote.com" rel="nofollow">PCCC phone bank</a>. I don't think calls via PCCC get counted in the OFA total. My calls through the election will be roughly 2 candidate calls for 1 Prop 19 call. I am most concerned about Feingold and Grayson among the 4 candidates for whom I'm doing GOTV work. I’ve made 15 calls today at Just say Now.

Tangentially related: organizing for America is trying for a million calls today. So far 837,000+ calls.

It’s difficult for me to reconcile a grassroots enthusiasm gap and a campaign that’s averaging over 1000 calls a minute since 8:00 AM EDT.

I've been without gainful employment for a long time and this blog has been a home for me while at home. I wish I owned property along a super highway or interstate and if I did I'd plant bushes, flowers or use rocks, tires or whatever to spell out the name F I R E D O G L A K E . C O M so that the 40 thousand passerbys each day would see it and maybe log on, and hopefully someone reading this that owns property along a busy highway will do the same.
