I agree – - until the big O understands that MMJ supporters will not support him – he will not stop the agression! Citizens of Colorado, NM, AZ, WA, OR, and CA should all be making their dissapproval known at any political stop by big O or Biden. Citizens need to put the issue loudly in the face of those two. That might bring about an October surprise :)

Vote third party if nothing changes – - a few thousand votes in CO, NM, AZ could have a big impact on the election.

Great. We should all be shouting “Fraud! Liar! Tyrant!” at the top of our lungs at every Obama event for as long as it takes…and, of course, planning to vote third party in November.

Good for them; they should protest. Obama has unequivocally failed to live up to his promises of 2008 on this issue. Further, Obama has done this because he believes he does not need to worry about medical marijuana supporters’ money or their votes (either because he calculates that they will not vote or they will vote for him regardless of how he treats them).

I admit that I fell for Obama’s posturing on this issue back in 2008. I took him to be a person of some integrity, and he explicitly promised to respect the states’ medical marijuana laws. Both Jill Stein of the Green Party and Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party have promised to do better. People who really care about this issue should strongly consider voting for one of them this time around.

Because all medical mary jane supporters will vote for Obama and not Rommney, no matter what Obama does, he will ignore any protest.

Med MJ supporters have no leverage with Obama.

If we could somehow convince O and the DoJ that the providers of medical marijuana were inseparable from Wall Street and the TBTF Banksters, either they would prosecute the Banks or they’d leave the providers of medical marijuana alone and give them taxpayer funds.
