Washington – Initiative 502

New Approach Washington is currently collecting signatures to put before the state legislature an initiative that legalizes marijuana for adults, regulates the production and processing of marijuana, and generates millions of dollars in tax revenue for the state each year.

If the legislature fails to pass I-502 during the 2012 session, which begins January 9, it would be referred to the November 2012 general election ballot for voters to decide.
